Not only did we clear the ‘Maniac’ publishing rights, but we also had the pleasure of dusting off some old synths and drum machines to do the re-record itself. Together with director and perfectionist, Djawid Hakimyer, we filed and polished those Linn-Drum sounds until they were oozing 80s. After a worldwide vocal casting, we ended up with a hook that sounded like Sembello might have sung it himself.    

The campaign was pretty extensive so there were quite a few assets to contend with but we delivered to every length and the project was a blast from start to finish. Have a watch and maybe we’ll also see you out on the floor?!
