None of this would’ve been possible without a man by the name of Donald Stellwag. It’s a classic did he/didn’t he… Donald went to jail for 9 years (albeit for another crime), but claims to not have been involved in the heißt. Xatar (our gangster rapper friend with the jail album) claims that Donald was the mastermind behind the whole operation. Either way, to this day no one knows where the gold went. Not even us! This witty yet tragic story about the ultimate anti-hero was put together for Netflix by the brilliant directing duo of Fabienne Hurst and Andreas Spinrath with production company BTF. The film was rated top 10 on Netflix throughout Europe and translated into several languages for international markets.

We had the challenging and enjoyable task of not only creating but also supervising the whole soundtrack for this modern storytelling masterpiece. Part film score, part beat making, part songwriting, we had this music-heavy film covered from beginning to end. We even managed to squeeze a few well-known titles in there through our expert licensing department and helped stay within budget with our inhouse catalog ‘SYNC about it’.
